Jose Marti MAST 6-12 Academy (JMMA) students have been the Silver Knights since the school was established in 1987, but the school has never actually had any Knights adorn the school until now. The school’s PTSA board (from left, back row) Aurora Garcia-Hoare, Leticia Carabeo, Ivelisse Pacheco, Tayme Rodriguez, Vanessa Dongioma, (front row) Luli McArthur, and Paula Isola, banded together to gift the school its very own Silver Knight. This is the third year for the PTSA which came together to see the class of students grow from 42 students to 690 since the school’s new title as a MAST Academy four years ago.
