Javier Gil, a longtime Miami Lakes resident, graduated from the University of Miami School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree on May 11. He is the son of local residents and proud parents Mayte and Nestor Quiros.
The 23-year-old kickstarted his academic career by enrolling into Miami Dade College’s School for Advanced Studies, a nationally recognized collegiate high school, which concurrently earned him a high school diploma and associates degree by the age of 18.
He entered into the University of Florida to complete his final two years for a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and was then accepted into the University of Miami for his J.D. He plans to pursue entertainment law and intellectual property law after passing the Bar Exam.
