Lawton Chiles Middle School receives Magnet School Distinction Award

Lawton Chiles Middle School (LCMS) was honored to once more be recognized by Magnet Schools of America (MSOA) for its Cambridge International program for 2019. The MSOA award is given to the top magnet schools in the nation. It is particularly given to schools that show commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation and diversity efforts and the consistent delivery of quality services to all stakeholders. LCMS is a 2019 Merit School of Distinction.
There were approximately 14 schools in Miami-Dade County Public Schools that have been recognized by Magnet Schools of America MSOA to receive Merit Awards.
