Lawton Chiles student won first place in Science Fair Junior event

Lawton Chiles Middle School student James Pruszynski won first place in the Science Fair Junior Division in Chemistry with his project of ‘How does salt affect ice and water’. Pruszynski observed how different amounts of salt affect the temperature of the water. Pruszynski’s project also earned him a nomination to compete in the 2019 Broadcom MASTERS which was given to the top sixty projects in the middle school division at the district level.
