Miami-Dade County Public Schools is recognizing and celebrating the South Florida Summer Youth Internship Providers including the Children’s Trust, Miami-Dade County, Career Source South Florida and more than 500 local business and community partners such as JetStream Federal Credit Union in Miami Lakes, that served as mentors for more than 1,700 student interns.
The participants will be recognized on Thursday, November 2, at the Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus from 6 to 8 p.m.
Expanded in 2014 with a $100,000 grant from JPMorgan Chase & Co., the Summer Youth Internship Program has equipped thousands of students with the critical skills they need to succeed in their careers.
