Art Basel, the world's premier modern and contemporary art fair, returned to South Florida this year on the first weekend of December. Since its inauguration 15 years ago, the fair has partnered with Miami-Dade County Public Schools’ (M-DCPS) Visual Arts Department to expose students to the world of art.
Students from all over the county participated in events such as the RAW Project and nearly 600 M-DCPS students attended Art Basel at the Miami Beach Convention Center. M-DCPS proudly partners with Art Basel to continue encouraging and highlighting the artistic endeavors of students and to provide a well-rounded education.
