During the Holiday Season, the Mater Lakes Academy Bears girl’s JV soccer team, together with the law firm of Grumer & Macaluso, P.A., got into the spirit of giving by donating gifts, toys and volunteering their time at the annual Family Holiday Event sponsored by the Non-Profit Organization “Entre Nosotras” in Goulds, Florida.
This organization provides counseling and assistance to single parents and disadvantaged families in South Dade. The Family Holiday Event took place on December 19 and the soccer team participated in arts and crafts, and other fun events with the many kids in attendance. Even Billy the Marlin and Santa Claus came out for the kids! The gift collection drive was a huge success and gift bags were handed out to 66 children.
