Miami-Dade Public Schools celebrate 'A' rated district, highest in state

Miami-Dade Public School (MDPS) Board members thanked teachers, students, support staff, administrators, parents,and the community for the great work in a milestone achievement. For the first time in history, MDPS is an “A” rated district, and the most improved and highest performing district in the state. Congratulations are in order for the hard working students and staff of every school in the community of Miami Lakes. The 2017-2018 school year results include: Schools that received an “A” ranking are Miami Lakes Educational Center, Bob Graham Educational Center, Spanish Lake Elementary, Miami Lakes Middle School, Jose Marti MAST Academy and Mater Academy. Schools that earned a “B” ranking are Miami Lakes K-8 Center, Hialeah Miami Lakes High School and Barbara Goleman Senior High School, with American Senior High ranking as “C”. Kudos to another great year!
