Miami Lakes Bar Association swears in new president, officers

Education Wednesday, January 31, 2018

For the past five years, the Miami Lakes Bar Association (MLBA) has counted on the leadership of Lorenzo Cobiella, who serves the Town of Miami Lakes as assistant Town Attorney, and maintains an Elder Law practice in Miami Lakes.

During this time, Cobiella as served the Bar either in the position of president-elect, president or past president. During the same period, the Bar has grown its membership, created outreach symposiums to assist seniors, contributed to Relay for Life, and provided numerous continuing education luncheons for attorneys.

In January, over 100 attorneys, judges, Town councilmembers, and community leaders, including MLBA’s founding president Anthony Dieguez, bid farewell to Cobiella and with enthusiasm welcomed Adry Polo, Esq. as their new president.

Polo, president-elect Jany Holland, and the MLBA board were sworn in and installed by the Honorable Diana Vizcaino, an active Miami Lakes resident and Miami-Dade County Circuit Court judge.

Polo is a Miami Lakes resident and an attorney at the Law Office of Carrillo and Gimenez where she practices first party insurance litigation. She is an avid competitive runner, wife of Dennis Polo (a decorated Marine), and a proud mother of two.

The MLBA plans to continue hosting luncheons, symposiums and social networking gatherings for its members and the community.
