Miami Lakes K-8 Center students celebrate 15 perfect FSA Writing scores

Students from Miami Lakes K-8 Center share a special dinner with their 8th grade Language Arts teacher, Virnalis Arvelo, at Shula’s Steak 2 to celebrate the perfect scores on the Florida Standard Assessment Writing Exam, formerly known as the FCAT. “I’m ecstatic that we had 15 perfect scores and very pleased with the hard work and results of all my students!” said Arvelo.
