MLA FBLA competes in National conference

Mater Lakes Academy (MLA) FBLA placed ninth in the Nation in Introduction to Business Presentation and Publication Design at the National Leadership Conference in San Antonio, Texas. The conference took place from June 29 - July 2.
These students needed to compete in two different competitions which are at the district and state level prior to nationals. At both competitions, MLA FBLA highly succeeded as they won 61 medals at the district level and 16 trophies at the state level. With these accomplishments, these two topics qualified for the national level.
Out of approximately over 100 student groups competing in these topics, MLA FBLA won ninth overall. This national competition held more than 9,500 students from the nation including international students. The students not only competed, but also attended workshops and presentations based of the category they were competing in. MLA is proud of their FBLA competitors.
