MLK-8 Future Educators host Lotus House donations

Miami Lakes K-8 Center's Future Educators of America (FEA) held a donation drive in April to benefit The Lotus House which is a shelter for homeless women and their children. The Lotus House provides support, education, tools and resources that empower women to improve their lives. With the help of students, staff and their PTSA, FEA donated much needed items like canned goods, socks, clothing, shoes, stuffed animals, toys, pencils, pens and other school supplies and toiletries.
