Miami Lakes Middle School eighth-grade student Deeanna Jones was honored for recording perfect attendance for seven consecutive years during the school’s 2016 Banquet and Awards ceremony last month.
Jones also made the school’s Superior Honor Roll for three grading periods during the 2015-2016 school year, and she was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society and The National Association of Student Councils.
Jones dedicated her perfect attendance honor to her grandfather for making sure she got to school everyday.
