OLL Kindergartners visit Young at Art Children’s Museum

Our Lady of the Lakes kindergarten classes had the opportunity to further their education in art by visiting The Young at Art Children’s Museum in Davie. During the field trip, the children were able to have a hands on learning experience to broaden their knowledge and idea of art. 
The children also had the chance to visit the exhibit known as CultureScapes. This exhibit helped to bring a new understanding of the world and how culturally diverse it is through the eyes of contemporary artists from Haiti, Latin America, Cuba, Africa, Native Americans, and Asia. The students were also able to create their very own 3-D art as well as build a puppet from recycled items.
