Congratulations are in order for Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School for receiving national recognition as an Accelerated Reader Master School.
The honor was announced last month, as the school’s classrooms earned the Accelerated Reader Master Classroom Certification, and 16 classrooms earned the Accelerated Reader Model Classroom Certification.
The Accelerated Reader program has helped students enhance their reading skills and increase their reading comprehension skills, while reading higher levels of text complexity in accordance with the latest educational standards.
Also, the Accelerated Reader Master School Certification acknowledges teacher's efforts to increase students’ reading proficiency and reading levels. “We are very proud of our teacher's dedication to our students,” said the schools faculty and staff.
“Our Lady of the Lakes is blessed to have such wonderful teachers who understand the importance of preparing our students for their next level of education. They are providing our students with the reading readiness skills they will need to succeed in college and career.”
