Our Lady of the Lakes adopts NeuroNet Learning Program

Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School recently adopted the NeuroNet Learning program which is aimed at helping students develop essential reading, math and handwriting skills while incorporating balance and exercise at school.
The program helps students tie together neurologic development, brain processing and academics through exercises that would take students less than 30 minutes each day of school.
The Ft. Lauderdale-based program which was founded by Nancy Rowe, an audiologist, whose work centered on helping children improve their coordination of motor and cognitive skills in an educational environment that encourages self-evaluation and trial and error problem solving.
Rowe earned her degree in speech education from NYU and a Master’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
