Our Lady of the Lakes celebrates 'Spirit Day' honoring Haiti school

On April 11 Our Lady of the Lakes’ (OLL) school community had an opportunity to offer prayers and support to their sister school in Haiti, Nan Palan. OLL students participated in a day of fun, while playing various student created games in the school gym during Spirit Day. The games taught students different facts about Haiti and their sister school.
All students wore red and white (the school colors of their sister school) to show their love and solidarity with them. The day began and ended in prayer. At the end of the Spirit Day, faculty, staff and students celebrated the amount raised for their sister school which totaled $1,146. This included personal donations given by students.
