Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School’s Glee Club performed at the 31st annual Miami Lakes Festival of Lights in late November. A total of 73 students, representing kindergarten through middle school grades), participate in this popular school club that provides student performance opportunities throughout the year.
Other Glee Club performances have included an annual appearance at the Dade County Youth Fair where the group earned first place trophies the past two years. The Glee Club has sung the National Anthem at a Miami Marlins game and have performed at the Congressional Arts Festival hosted by Congressman Lincoln Diaz Balart, at the annual Our Lady of the Lakes Spring Festival, and at Sam Ashe Music Stores.
Our Lady of the Lakes will hold a Open House from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, for prospective families to tour the school and meet teachers from grades PreK 2 through 8th grade. OLL offers a Voluntary PreK program and accepts Step-Up for Students scholarships.
