Our Lady of the Lakes marks Star Student awards

Every year Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School selects three eighth-grade students to be awarded the Independent Schools of South Florida (ISSF) Star Student Award. An ISSF Star student is an exemplary student. He/she is a student who sets an example for others to follow whether at home or school. The students chosen have excelled in one or more of the following areas: Academics, community service, citizenship, fine arts, athletics, student activities, perseverance, effort, dedication, commitment to positive goals, improvement in performance and attitude.
