Pace’s student body and faculty celebrated their diversity with performances, food, and festivities during Monsignor Edward Pace High School’s Annual Cultural Week from February 29 to March 4.

The week opened with French Culture as French music played over the school’s PA system in between classes while the French Club sang, danced, and served traditional French snacks during the school lunches.

The Black Student Alliance celebrated African-American Culture the following day with over 30 students putting on an elaborate show featuring choreographed dancing, spoken word, songs, and skits about prominent figures in Black History.

The week continued with celebrations of Asian and German Culture as senior Tristan Luzod performed a traditional Philippine tinikling stick dance and the German Club provided snacks for students. Hispanic Culture closed the week as the Salsa Club performed, siblings Rene and Liz-Amanda Gonzalez danced a tango together, and senior Victoria Jebian sang Marc Anthony’s “Vivir Mi Vida”. The Pace Jazz Band  played live music during the lunches and free Latin desserts provided by students and their families were served.
