Monsignor Edward Pace High School’s International Thespians, Troupe 5457, will hosting its 4th Annual Gala on Friday, February 21 in the Spartan Center. Cristina Pla-Guzman, director of the drama and theatre program, has invited parents and friends of the thespians to enjoy an evening of sweets, performances, and special presentations.

The award winning members of Troupe 5457 will perform their district competition pieces, and proceeds will go towards funding the annual Florida State Conference trip. To add to the evening’s spectacular events, Pla-Guzman will formerly induct over 60 Academy of Visual and Performing Arts members exclusively into the Theatre Strand.

The drama members are also preparing for their spring production “In the Heights." The Spartans are expecting no less than a sold-out show. Every year all three-night performances are sold out experiences. “In the Heights” will be performed for all audiences April 29, 30, and May 1 at Pace High School’s Spartan Center.
