Monsignor Edward Pace High School will be continuing one of its many traditions with its annual Back-To-School Night on Thursday, September 4, starting at 6 p.m. The event is an opportunity for parents of new and returning Pace students to meet their child’s teachers face-to-face and get an overview of the academic requirements that their child must meet throughout the year.

Parents who arrive at 6 p.m. can attend an optional iPad Parent Orientation and an Edline Parent Training session. The iPad Parent Orientation will be held in the school chapel and be led by Technology director Ricardo Machado and Dean of Academics Rebeca Bautista.

The Edline Parent Training will be held in the school’s computer labs with the help of the Pace tech team. Both events start at the same time and last an hour, and parents are welcome to come and go between the two events throughout the hour.

At 7 p.m. all parents will start visiting classrooms according to their child’s schedule, which will be given to them in the plaza upon their arrival. Parents will get to live out their child’s school days, starting from their child’s B Block class and ending with G Block.

In each classroom, the teacher will give an overview of the course, explain the syllabus, announce major upcoming projects, and answer questions from parents. Each session lasts 10 minutes before the bell rings and parents go on to the next class. The sessions will continue until about 9 p.m.
