The daughters of Osvaldo and Juliet Paulet of Miami Lakes celebrated graduations this season.
Sarah Paulet, 18, shown above at left, graduated cum laude from Barbara Goleman Senior High School, her parents said.
She will attend Florida International University in the fall and plans to join the marching band. At Goleman, Sarah led the saxophone section and was vice president of the marching band.
She is a Florida Bright Futures Scholar and received a Gold and Blue Merit Scholarship from FIU.
Lauren Paulet, 22, above at right, is a communications specialist at Blue Water
Baltimore, a non-profit environmental organization.
Lauren graduated with honors from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies and a minor in environmental studies, according to her parents.
She was president of the Cuban American Undergraduate Students Association.
Lauren is an alumna of the School for Advanced Studies and while there, earned an Associates degree from Miami Dade College, her family said.
