On July 23 through 25, Palm Springs North Elementary school teacher Dr. Rossana Chiarella was invited to attend the 2018 Dr. Rochelle Abrams Space Across the Curriculum Educator Training workshop at Colorado Springs.
The program is intended to train teachers on how to integrate space-themed activities in their curriculum and inform students about the opportunities available for careers in the space industry.
“I thank the Space Foundation for allowing me to be part of an event that inspired me today, and will inspire my students tomorrow when I transfer this experience in time securing the continuance of space science education,” said Chiarella.
