Mater Lakes Academy held a neighborhood walk for Autism awareness on October 5. Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. and State Representative Manny Diaz attended alongside the Miami-Dade Police Department, Hialeah Fire Department Benevolent Association, Miguel Martinez with the Palm Springs North Town Center, and the PSN community. The walk included local community members and students and parents from PSN Elementary, Spanish Lakes Elementary, Lawton Chiles Middle School, Barbara Goleman High School, Bob Graham Education Center, Mater Lakes Academy, Miami Lakes K-8 Center, and Country Club Middle School.
