The Miami-Dade County Publilc School Board unanimously approved an agenda item proposed by Board member Perla Tabares Hantman to endorse November 16 as “National Parental Involvement Day.”
This initiative provides an annual opportunity for schools and families to honor and highlight the powerful contributions parents and caregivers provide at school and home to support student success.
“I am proud to have been able to bring forth this initiative that celebrates the powerful contributions that parents and caregivers provide to support student success,” said Hantman.
