In an initiative proposed by chairman Perla Tabares Hantman, the Miami-Dade School Board voted unanimously to promote and encourage participation in the 2018 Miami National College Fair, scheduled from noon to 4 p.m. on February 25, at the Doubletree Miami Mart Airport Hotel and Convention Center, 777 N.W. 72 Avenue.
“The College Fair provides parents and students with excellent information about educational opportunities and choices,” said Hantman, who has co-chaired the Fair’s local committee for 21 consecutive years.
“It is a wonderful way for them to become informed and discover their options for post-secondary education.”
Representatives from more than 200 colleges and universities will be at the Fair to provide information about admissions, financial aid, entrance exams and other related topics.
