Miami-Dade County Public School Board Chair Perla Tabares Hantman and School Superintendent Alberto M. Carvalho lead students, teachers, parents and community leaders during the “International Walk Our Children to School Day” on October 8 at Meadowlane Elementary. The international program promotes pedestrian safety education, safe walking skills, and walking as exercise for good health and physical fitness.
