Silver Knight finalists announced

Area high schools announced their students who have been chosen as finalists for the 62nd Annual Miami Herald Silver Knight Awards.
The ceremony will be held May 14 at the James L. Knight Center in Miami.
Winners are eligible for a cash prize and statue. They are recognized in different categories for excelling at academics and community service.
Previous Silver Knights have included Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Bill Conti, composer of the “Rocky” theme.
