Spanish Lake Elementary School students imagined what words Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. might use if he had an Instagram account.
On Jan. 15, Lesley
Carballo’s fifth grade class watched a program on King’s life and then created bricks emblazoned with words such as peace; equality; acceptance; rights and nonviolence to honor the late civil rights leader.
The bricks were displayed in their classroom at 7940 NW 194th St. in Miami.
