The Education Fund seeks supplies for teachers

    The Education Fund has issued an urgent call for classroom supplies.

     Public school teachers in Miami-Dade County may visit The Education Fund Ocean Bank Center for Educational Materials in Medley and get what they need for their students and classrooms, all for free.

     But this year, demand for materials has exceeded the inventory, the organization said. 

     It is hoping for donations of everything from crayons and paper to composition books and cleaning products.
