The Graham Companies’ four decades-long tradition of supporting education

     For the past 39 years, The Graham Companies has awarded college scholarships to graduates of Miami Lakes Middle School. The $1,000 checks are distributed when scholarship winners complete high school.

     This year’s recipient is Mayte Mendez. She is shown above at right, with Andrea Graham Rechichi, vice president of corporate relations for The Graham Companies.

     Mayte is a graduate of Barbara Goleman Senior High School. She will attend the University of Notre Dame in the fall and plans to pursue a degree in political science, the company said. Courtesy photo.
