Pace High School (PACE) seniors, Lauren Aponte, Paola Calleyro and Emma Rodriguez were honored with the ISSF Star Student Award presented by the Independent Schools of South Florida (ISSF) at its 29 Annual “Star Award” luncheon. The award ceremony was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Miami Airport and Convention Center on April 3.
The ISSF unites accredited nonpublic schools to collaborate, share information and celebrate the success of its students. Each year the organization bestows the Star Awards to students from over 70 accredited schools and two parochial school organizations
These Spartan “Star Students” were each selected based on their success and contributions in academics, community service, athletics, citizenship and many other factors.
The trio was joined at the luncheon event by PACE’s principal Ana Garcia and dean of faculty Lilian Dubon.
