Pace High School seniors Samantha Bacerio, Kory Fleming and Tristan Luzod were honored with the ISSF Star Student Award by the Independent Schools of South Florida (ISSF) at its 26th Annual “Star Award” Luncheon on April 20.

The ISSF, which unites accredited nonpublic schools to collaborate, share information, and celebrate the success of its students, bestows the Star Awards to students from over 70 South Florida high schools each year.

Bacerio, Fleming, and Luzod were each chosen based on their success and contributions in academics, community service, athletics, citizenship and many other factors.

The trio were supported at the event by their family, friends, and Pace administrators, including Pace principal Ana Garcia, Cap and Gown advisor Lilian Dubon, and guidance counselor Melanie Otero.
