Miami Heat forward Udonis Haslem congratulates Tiger Nunez who was recently named the new principal of Mater Academy, replacing Judy Marty, who was promoted to a new position. Nunez was the athletic director for Miami High in the 1990s, when Haslem was coached by the legendary Shaky Rodriguez, who’s Mater Academy’s current head basketball coach. Rodriguez led the Stingarees to five state champions and complied over 600 victories. Nunez previously served as Mater Academy’s vice principal.
