Ana G. Mendez University will begin teaching 40 degrees completely in English. Many of those degrees will be available to students at its Miami Lakes campus.
The new classes will begin in the winter semester that begins Jan. 11. “Ana G. Mendez University maintains its vision of innovation and commitment to finding solutions to serve the needs of the community,” Dr. Jose E. Maldonado Rojas, vice president of academic affairs, said in a media statement.
“Our goal is to exceed those unique needs that future professionals and the industry have,” he said.
Ana G. Mendez University was established in 1949 and has 40,000 students enrolled.
Based in Puerto Rico, the private school’s new course offerings will be available for new and continuing students at its campuses in Florida and Texas and will supplement more than 51 bilingual and Spanish degrees offered by the school at those locations.
It offers credentials up to a master’s degree level and has programs in business education, social sciences, communications, technology and health.
