Check Chem Again for free county products

The Miami-Dade Department of Solid Waste Management offers residents free unused or lightly used home chemical products through its Chem Again program. It recently launched a real-time online dashboard that lets residents know what’s available at the county’s two centers.

     Free products available might range from insect spray to fertilizer, spray paint to butane fluids.

     For a full, current list of available products, go to miamidade.gov/homechemicals. Click on “Free Home Chemicals,” then click the link that reads “Take home free home chemicals.”

The center closer to Miami Lakes is at 8801 NW 58th St., Doral.
