Coming soon: Relocation of express lane entrance for Palmetto Expressway

Commuters who drive the Palmetto Expressway will want to note a relocation of the entrance for the southbound express lanes that takes effect the weekend of Oct. 11.

     Instead of entering the expressway at Northwest 67th Avenue to access the southbound express lanes, drivers in Miami Lakes and Hialeah may enter the express lanes at Northwest 103rd Street/West 49th Street. The Florida Dept. of Transportation says the relocation date may change due to construction or weather delays.
