April 19 Spring Fling and Easter Egg Hunt The Youth Activities Task Force presents its annual Easter egg hunt and Spring Fling, when kids can enjoy a morning of fun activities. Veterans Park, 15151 NW 82nd Ave. 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Free. 

April 19 Field Trip to the Hialeah Gardens Botanical Garden Admission is free to the Botanical Garden at 13501 NW 107th Ave. The Miami Lakes Garden Club invites those wishing to carpool to meet at 9:45 a.m. in the Winn-Dixie parking lot, Royal Oaks Plaza, 15400 NW 77th Court, for a 10 a.m. departure. 

April 25 Arbor Day Celebration The Parks & Recreation Department will plant a Cathedral Live Oak at Park 60, 15341 Turnbull Drive. Light snacks and refreshments served, 4:30 p.m.  Free.

April 26 2nd Annual Community Health Fair American Legion Post 144 presents The 2nd Annual Community Health Fair for people over 65.
