July 13  Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce Luncheon. Speaker is dietician Sabrina Hernandez-Cano. July 14 Seniors field trip to Miami Marlins baseball game. Elderly Affairs Committee trip to see Miami Marlins vs. Pittsburg Pirates at LoanDepot Park. Bus leaves at 10 a.m. from Miami Lakes Town Hall, 6601 Main St. Free. 

July 15 Youth Open Hang at The Spot. Kids ages 8 to 11 can enjoy an afternoon of games, snacks and arts and crafts during the monthly Youth Open Hang. Town of Miami Lakes Youth Center, 6075 Miami Lakes Drive. Free. 5:30 p.m.

July 18 Seniors legal forum. Presented by the Elderly Affairs Committee at Miami Lakes Town Hall, 6601 Main St. Topics include estate planning, fraud  and foreclosure. Free. 10 a.m. 

July 21 Seniors field trip to Miami Marlins baseball game. Elderly Affairs Committee trip to see Miami Marlins vs. Texas Rangers at LoanDepot Park. Bus leaves at 11 a.m. from Miami Lakes Town Hall, 6601 Main St. Free. 

July 22 - Aug. 14 Main Street Players present “Black Sheep.” A black comedy by Lee Blessing at the Main Street Players’ theater, 6812 Main St. Shows at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $30, $25 for students and seniors. To buy tickets, visit www.mainstreetplayers.com. 

July 24 Seniors Social. The Elderly Affairs Committee’s sock hop, Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 NW 87 Ave. 11 a.m. 

July 28 Seniors Bingo Luncheon. The Elderly Affairs Committee hosts at Miami Lakes Town Hall, 6601 Main St. Registration opens July 14. Free. 11 a.m. 

Aug. 13 Symphony of the Americas Concert. Celebrate classical music during this free concert presented in part by the Cultural Affairs Committee. Miami Lakes United Methodist Church, 14800 Ludlam Rd.
