People from around Miami Lakes came together to help our neighbors on the west coast of Florida who are suffering after two hurricanes slammed into the state.

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Sen. René Garcia and members of the Business Networking International Chapters BNI Excellence Miami Lakes and BNI Progress Hialeah collected supplies for hurricane relief through Garcia’s H.O.P.E. Mission. The group met at Westland Commons, at 1700 W. 49th St., to organize diapers, baby wipes, soap, over the counter medications and other products donated by local businesses.
