Cong. Mario Diaz-Balart hosts Service Academy Day for Dist. 25 residents

U.S Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart is inviting residents of Congressional District 25 to his Service Academy Day, scheduled for 8:30 a.m., Saturday September 20, at the U.S. Southern Command Center, 9301 N.W. 33 Street in Doral.

Participants applying to a service academy will be provided a comprehensive overview of the United States service academies and their admission process.

In addition, they will be able to meet with officials from the service academies, and learn about the process to receive a nomination, a required part of the application.

In order to receive a nomination from the  congressman’s office, participants must reside in the 25th Congressional district.

Participants are encouraged to reserve a spot at http://mariodiazbalart.house.gov/rsvp-for-our-service-academy-day. Reservation is required due to security restrictions. Participants must present valid identification at the checkpoint for admittance.
