Mayor Wayne Slaton and the Town Council presented two of their fellow Councilmembers with special recognitions at the January 13 Council meeting.
Councilmember Tim Daubert was honored for received a Certificate of Appreciation from the Miami-Dade Commission on Ethics and Public Trust for representing Miami Lakes as a volunteer speaker for Ethical Governance Day on October 29.
Additionally, Councilmember Nelson Rodriguez was recognized for his completion of the “Leaders of Excellence Program” from The Good Government Initiative.
“Congratulations to both for these important accomplishments and thank you for proudly representing the Town of Miami Lakes,” Slaton said.
