Cultural Affairs Committee to celebrate Spain

    Hispanic Heritage Month spans September and October, and on Oct. 14 the Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee will celebrate the nation of Spain.

     El Pimiento Restaurant of Miami Lakes will serve sangria, paella and other Spanish cuisine during the event at Miami Lakes Town Hall.

    The party will also have music, a flamenco dancer and photos and information about the country where  many residents have ancestral ties.

    Festivities are set for 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Town Hall, 6601 Main St.
