In conjunction with the “I Heart Miami Lakes” campaign, the Town of Miami Lakes is conducting two contests to promote civic pride.
Deadline for both contests has been changed to Friday, August 10 at midnight.
The Neighborhood Improvement Committee (NIC) is inviting residents to participate in the 2018 Home Beatification Contest.
The contest will recognize residents who take special pride in improving their homes and landscaping. The winner will be awarded with a $1,000 Home Depot gift card and a commemorative lawn sign to be placed on their front yard.

The “Capture A Miami Lakes Moment” photo contest officials rules include:
• Photos must be taken within Town boundaries.
• Photos of landscape, buildings, parks and scenery are recommended.
• Photos must be in JPEG format, 300 DPI (dots per inch), and no smaller than 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high.

Winners of both contests will be announced at the September Town Council meeting.
