Elderly Affairs hosts Hurricane Prep Event on June 22

Miami Lakes Elderly Afairs Committee will present a Hurricane Prepardness event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 22, at the Mary Collins Community Center, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
There will be numerous resources and special presentations on how famlies can better prepare for the hurricane season which started June 1. Representatives from Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr.’s office, American Medican Response, Miami-Dade Police Department and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Departments will be on hand for the event.
