Miami Lakes residents are encouraged to show their love of Miami Lakes by participating in the two contests to promote civic pride as part of the I Heart Miami Lakes campaign including the Capture a Moment photo contest and the Home Beautification Contest.
Final deadline for entries in both contests is Friday, August 10 at midnight.
For the Capture a Moment photo contest, entry rules include:
• Photos must be taken within the Town’s boundaries
• Photos of landscape, buildings, parks and scenery are recommended
• Photos must be in JPEG format, 300 DPI (dots per inch) and no smaller than 800 pixels wide by 600 pixels high
• Submit photos to http://bit.ly/2018CaptureMLPhotoComp.
The Home Beautification Contest recognizes residents who take special pride in improving their homes and landscaping. The winner will be awarded with a $1,000 Home Depot gift card and a commemorative lawn sign.
