Two Barbara Goleman Senior High School students were presented with the Town of Miami Lakes Future Leaders Scholarships at the May 1 regular council meeting. Valera Donoso will attend the University of Florida and Kasandra Rodriguez will attend Davidson College in the fall. The winners received $1,000 each from The Graham Companies for submitting an essay on how they aspire to make the world a better place.
