'In God We Trust' added to Town Hall

In observance of the 150th anniversary of the adoption of “In God We Trust,” Miami Lakes councilmembers approved a recommendation of the Committee of the Whole on September 9 to add the quotation to the entrance to the Council chambers at Town Hall. During the unveiling prior to the October 28 Council meeting, councilmembers were joined by Jacquie Sullivan, City of Bakersfield, California Councilmember, who organized the observance and Miami Lakes resident, Martha Rovirosa.
