Lakes Police officers honored

Two female officers of the Miami Lakes Policing Unit were recognized for their distinction and professionalism during Miami Lakes’ Cultural Affairs Committee’s Women’s History Month luncheon on March 4. Officers Rebeca Perez and Brandy Gonzalez are assigned to the Policing Unit’s day platoon. Town Commander George A. Perez thanked the Committee, the Mayor and Council for acknowledging their efforts.
